This recipe calls for a delicious and buttery apple crumble, topped with french vanilla ice-cream and caramel! So easy to make, and even easier to eat!


Ingredients

1 cup flour

2 cups quick oats

1 tsp. cinnamon

1 cup dark brown sugar, packed

12 medium-sized apples

1 tsp. cinnamon
-
1/3 cup white sugar
-
1/2 cup cold butter, cut into small pieces
-
French vanilla ice-cream for topping
-
Caramel sauce for topping
Instructions

Mix together flour, oats, cinnamon, and dark brown sugar. Set aside.

Peel and chop apples, and put in large bowl. mix in cinnamon and white sugar until all apple pieces are fully covered.

Grease a large rectangular glass pan. Pour apple mixture in and spread evenly to corners. Pour dry oat mixture evenly on top of apple mixture.

Preheat oven to 350°F.

Evenly dot the top of the crumble mixture with pieces of cold butter.

Bake the apple crumble for approximately 45 minutes, or until the apple layer is bubbling. When finished, set aside to cool for 15 minutes.

When ready to serve, cut generously sized pieces and top with a scoop of ice-cream and caramel sauce.
