Yields: 12 squares

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, melted

  • 2 cups dark brown sugar, packed

  • 2 eggs

  • 2 tsp. vanilla

  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder

  • 1/4 tsp. salt

  • 1/4 tsp. cinnamon

  • 1 tbsp. cornstarch

  • 1 cup oats

  • 1 & 1/2 cups flour

  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans

  • 1/2 cup white chocolate chips

  • 1/2 cup butterscotch chips

  • 1/2 cup Skor pieces

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.

  2. Mix together melted butter and brown sugar.

  3. Combine eggs one at a time and vanilla, mixing until just incorporated. Tip: If bubbles are forming, you are overmixing!

  4. Mix in baking powder, salt, cornstarch, and cinnamon.

  5. Add oats and incorporate evenly into the mixture.

  6. Mix in flour a little bit at a time until fully incorporated.

  7. Evenly fold in the chopped pecans, white chocolate chips, butterscotch chips, and Skor pieces.

  8. Spray rectangular brownie pan with cooking spray and press parchment paper into the bottom of the pan. Pour in dough and press flat with spatula.

  9. Bake for 30-45 minutes, depending on size of pan. Squares will be done when the edges are golden brown, and a toothpick comes out clean when inserted into the center of the dough.

  10. Let cool for 20 minutes before cutting into squares.
